Five for Friday- what I did last week!

Happy Friday friends!! I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for:

So, THIS week was SUPER boring- class 8:30-3:15 every day.  Working on homework.  UGH!  BUT last week was great and I didn't have time to share so that's what I'll do this week :-) Enjoy!

My inlaws were in town for the week and my father in law LOVES ice cream just like me!! So we did this, 2 times, :-)
Smores ice cream on top and black raspberry on the bottom- holy cow!! YUM!

Saw a beautiful sunset walking home from dinner one night.  It was lovely!
Found the original house (and this plaque) of the namesake of the school I work at.  A little history is always good :-)
The hubs and I haven't walked the monuments at night in a VERY long time.  So doing it with the inlaws (and dog!) was perfect!!  Just missed out on MLK.  Can you name all of these??

Little known fact that behind Jefferson there is 1 more memorial for my man George Mason, namesake of my grad school.  APPARENTLY he was a very great man!  He was an adviser to Washington, and Jefferson called him "the brightest man of his age" (or something to that effect).  They had some excerpts of the Virginian Declaration of Independence, which Jefferson totally stole all his ideas from! LOL
I love this picture! HAHA!

Well friends, I hope summer is treating you well and that you had a great week!  Jump back over to Doodle Bugs Teaching for more Five for Friday fun!  Happy Summer!
