Five for Friday- Whoops! It's Saturday!

Happy weekend everyone!  So I never pull my computer out at home right after work anymore because of our sweet dog and I was asleep on the couch at like 8pm last night SO it's a Saturday post.  Linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for my Five for Friday!
We've been learning about the butterfly life cycle and of course reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Our fearless team leader and artist extraordinaire put up this bulletin board- IT'S SO CUTE!!!

I'm sure I didn't need ALL the pictures- but how fun is it?!?!
We went on a field trip this week and had a BLAST!  Got to touch lots of things- hissing cockroach, turtle, snake, and animal pelts.  Saw peacocks with their feathers up and open!! And saw some owls and hawks.  Lots to do, including the amazing playground after our lunch!

This week we were reviewing measurement, so went outside and did some measuring!

I completely forgot to start our Mother's Day poems until Friday, but they turned out soooo cute!! My kids have been doing a great job of writing descriptive poems using adjectives, and these were a perfect way to top it all off!
"I love mom.   Beautiful mom, funny mom, lovable mom, caring mom. I love mom."

"I love mom. Beautiful mom, kind mom, wonderful mom, funny mom. I love mom."

I love mom.  Beautiful mom, happy mom, funny mom, kind mom. I love mom."

This is the reason I don't pull out my computer much anymore- too busy walking Allie!  It's a great place to walk though!  But I'm hungry ALL the time from all the walking.

I hope your weekend is already off to a great start!! I'm off for another walk, before the rain comes.  Enjoy your time!  Jump back over to Doodle Bugs Teaching for more Five for Friday fun!
