It's October already?! Time is flying by...
I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!
Last week we started labeling and to really drive home the concept of it I decided to have the kiddos label me! They had a blast!
We were working on comparing numbers so I introduced the game Top It, which kinders ALWAYS love! If you are not familiar- its War, just with a fancier name.
This week was all about fall! So our centers started reflecting fall also! Here is one game we played- Leaves Roll and Color. It's actually from Annie from The Moffatt Girls- she actually just blogged about it again, but I pick it up some other time. You can get her free math pack here! I had to do quite a bit of whiting out to make it work with 1 dice- but the kids loved it!
I introduced my early finishers activities this week that I made for a Monday Made It- you can check out that post here! The kids are really enjoying doing something besides looking at books when they finish early!!
I was able to get us officially organized for centers this week (finally!!!). It's a new system for me and I needed a bit to get used to it, but so far so good! I have a center chart for math and one for literacy so everyone knows where to go:
Then, each table/work area is labeled with the matching letter so kids are not confused where the center is:
Lastly, we keep our centers stored in an organized fashion with little labels so every child knows where they go! I just added this today and it was a LIFESAVER! No one was asking me "Where does this go??" during cleanup- THANK THE LORD!
Hope it's been a great week for you! Jump over to Doodle Bugs for more Five for Friday!

I love your organization system with the letters on the table and the shelves! Genius!
